Re: [Question #211358]: Differen between simulation and real experiment

Question #211358 on Yade changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/211358

    Status: Answered => Open

Christian Sommerfeld is still having a problem:
I'm not sure if i understand your question. But i try to explain what i
want to do. If it is not the correct answer of your question please ask
me again!

I´m fine with the displacement which i get from the law of cundall and
strack. And i think the normal contact force is also ok, because it
became the same force in my calculations. But i think the force which i
get at the measurement isn't the normal contact force. In my experiment
i let the porcelain ball fall down to a load cell which has the material
steel. Then i get a force which is acting on the load cell in the normal
direction. In my opinion this force isn't the normal contact force it
seems like a forces which is acting on the hole body.
