Hi,

good question, I never payed attention on this --cores option. According
to this string [1], it seems, it does not matter, whether you use "cores" or
"threads". "cores" variable has higher priority.

I think, you can ignore this --cores option, as it is more important for
yade-batch binary, where you can split the given number of cores
between several tasks.
