I agree with Chiara's advices (with the exception that density does not help*).
The main parameters to play with are: strain rate and stiffness.
(*) if you increase density, you should also decrease strain rate, so it
has a null effect on total time. To put it differently, changing rate
and density is redundant, so better change rate as it is not a material
parameter.
