If you think sudo is better, you will have to solve the trouble it
generates. This is your business. If you need help from us, better
follow the guideline and report the problem before trying your own
workarounds.

Note, that installing and compiling are two different things. You are
speaking of a compile problem but actually you type an install command
(make install). Did you only compile yade? The situation is quite
confused.

I suggest to start from a fresh buildir and to follow the instructions
strictly. Then report typed commands and complete error message if any.
