Re: [Question #231810]: [triaxial test] Modify stressMask to apply additional force while being controlled the strain rate

Question #231810 on Yade changed:

    Status: Answered => Open

Nguyen N.G. Hien is still having a problem:
So is there a way to keep the volume variation =0 when I apply the additional force? I mean I want to model a undrained triaxial test, and at a specific point I want to increase the deviatoric loading suddenly (+1kPa) when still maintain the volume variation =0 (total volume is kept unchanged).
With TriaxialStressController, to keep the total volume unchanged

stressMask=0
rate1=-x
rate2=rate3=x/2

But when I add the sudden force, I turn the stressMask on for axis y
stressMask=2
and then I lose the strain rate control in order to keep the total volume unchanged

In that case is there any idea how can we still maintain the volume
variation = 0?
