Hi,

I tought you needed a periodic box with a special shape, and that using walls was a workaroud to obtain that. But if you actually want to have 2 non periodic axes the solution you chose is the right one.
Just to remind, the cell have to be oversized a little in the non-periodic directions, and the wall have to be oversize regarding the maximal sphere distance flown through the periodic direction.
