Hi,
Kinematic engines act on a list of bodies (engine::ids). You don't define them apparently.
Bicycle pedals have a very strange motion (clearly not that of a rolling cylinder), is really what you want?

Probably a version problem. Try and checkout latest git version (see yade/installation)
