As for myself, I did not know the "CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE" option... I am
using the "DEBUG" one ("-DDEBUG=ON", then "make install"...)

Where did you find the option you're using ? Not on https://yade-
dem.org/doc/installation.html#compilation, isn't it ?
