[Question #327466]: IDEs for yade scripting?
New question #327466 on Yade:
https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/327466
This isn't really a yade issue, but I'm rather curious what people are using for their yade python scripting and how they are setting it up. When I try to run yade from my command line, it works fine. However, if I try to run something from eclipse, nothing works.
Right now, I'm just using the default text editor in Ubuntu 16.04, under the python formatting system. This works OK, but Ideally I'd like to be able to debug my Yade scripts without writing a bunch of print statements, and also see the various attributes and methods of objects while I'm coding. If that actually can't be done, then that's fine, but I figured I'd reach out to the community before deciding that nothing can be done to improve the situation.
