Re: [Question #403777]: Breakage bibliography and examples

Question #403777 on Yade changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/403777

    Status: Open => Answered

Jan Stránský proposed the following answer:
Hi Bruna,

Yes, Yade supports "more types of interactions". The idea is such that you
first create cohesive bonds inside agglomerate, than change material of all
particles (which has no effect on existing interactions, but new contacts
will be based on new materials).
So you will have existing interactions making the agglomerates cohesive,
but new interactions between agglomerates will have different properties.
See [1], answer #3 to get some feeling.

for one option how to prepare such simulation, see and try
yade/examples/agglomerate or [2] if it is what you want. There is not
breaking, but changing input material parameters could make it.

cheers
Jan
