Hi Jan,
      Maybe a firewall happened to me. When I executed the code: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:yade-users/external & sudo apt-get update, a warning came out: the repository  “http://ppa.launchpad.net/yade-users/external/ubuntu xenial Release” does not have a Release file.
      So, if I don't install the doc, it wouldn't influence me in using the YADE, would it?
