Hello,

Anton is asking you why you cannot simply use sudo apt-get install yade,
instead of compiling from sources as you appear to be doing now. So, is
there a reason the prepackaged version does not suit your needs?

You can uninstall packages by using sudo apt-get remove packagename
uninstalls a package.
