Re: [Question #659557]: Flow engine working randomly with CHOLMOD

Question #659557 on Yade changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/659557

Robert Caulk posted a new comment:
Hmmmm, when you mention that it fails 2 or 3 times to give the correct
result. What result is the failed result exactly? You mention that the
flow is simply not computed 20-30% of the time? So you get 0 values for
everything?

>I thought it would not work so I uncommented the ifdef DFNFlow in the
DFNFlow.cpp but was it necessary?

I believe it was not necessary. Since the cmake step doesn't actually
parse any of the cpp files, it doesn't realize we will use DFNFLOW
later. That's my guess.

>This and the qt issue,

Side question: what kind of graphics card are you using? I can't believe
how well this qt problem has eluded us. I've tried a few times to really
dig into it but I can't come up with anything. For some reason, I do not
have the qt problem on my new computer with 16.04, but I do have the
problem on my old comp with 16.04. I honestly have no idea why.
