Robert Caulk proposed the following answer:
In Yade, you can model arbitrary geometry comprised of facets that
interact with particles. So yes, in theory, you could model a cone-
shaped geometry comprised of facets pushing into a bed of particles.
However, the relevancy of the results is probably the main concern.
