Hi Jérôme,
thank you for the reply. Apologies, for the commented lines, I left those lines in e.g. 
#test = sp.makeClumpCloud(minCorner, maxCorner, [c0,c1], periodic=True, num = 1000) 
and
#maxCorner = (7e-7,7e-7,7e-7)
so that anyone testing the script could easily modify the script and see what I was talking about. 
I will make better MWEs in the future. 

It turns out makeClumpCloud was unable to add the clumps to the scene
because the clumps were not centered around zero. I now center the
clumps after they are generated and I am able to use makeClumpClound
without issue.
