[Question #672274]: After upgrade to 18.04 LTS very slow boot process

Upgraded to 18.04 LTS today and upon the restart I noticed the boot process took much longer than 16.04 LTS before.
the disk is a 120GB SSD, 2GB memory.  16.04 LTS would ask for password in a minute, 18.04 LTS takes at least 5 minutes, not an improvement. What to do to speed it up?
