Hi,
If you could give the mathematical definition of what you call "stress" and "strain" in your "very simple" granular system, then we could come up with methods to get those quantities from Yade, maybe.
Otherwise the question is much too vague. For stress, for instance, what about "take the total force on the wall and divide by area" - among many possible answers?...
