Hello,

I do not have much experience with CohFrictMat nor with the grid* stuff, but a few notes:
- the deflection seems like a "chain", without proper bending stiffness
- "theoretical deflection = (F*L^3)/(48*E*J)" - this is for a static case, considering dynamics, the result would be different
