Yes, confining pressure (internal isotropic stress) is obtained in your
script growing particles (see triax.internalCompaction = True), it is
then logical it shows no deformation at the boundaries
This small comment being said, I would be super cautious about using
O.engines.insert(). It appears in the initial script you modified but it
was commented therein.
And, looking at the end of https://yade-dem.org/doc/user.html#base-
engines (and a very quick test), it does not seem to work, indeed.
