Hi,
This error suggests huge overlaps between some spheres, such that in some pore throats the intersected solid area is more than the area of the triangle connecting sphere centers (hence a negative area left for the fluid).
It may come from a small stress to stiffness ratio, or more simply a numerical instability.
Try with a smaller time-step?
