Bug description:
  There is a bug in sqlalchemy with eventlet that doesn't allows us to use
  session.flush() without explicit transaction.

  cleared-during

  If somethings went worng in DB and rollback is called it will raise
  NoneType exception instead of sqlalchemy exception.
