[Bug 1190609] Re: Default View after Login Should Be Project > Overview
The default page is Admin > Overview only if you have the 'admin' role.
Otherwise, if you do not have the 'admin' role, your default is Project
> Overview. As an 'admin' you are creating projects and users and
assigning roles, as well as create resources for other users to use. If
your intent is to create instances, create snapshots, etc. That is a
non-admin user's role. If you are logging in as 'admin' and performing
the roles you indicate, I would liken that to being logged into linux as
root all the time. Sure you can do it, but that's not really the best
way to go.

Title:
Default View after Login Should Be Project > Overview
Status in OpenStack Dashboard (Horizon):
Invalid
Bug description:
After logging into Horizon UI, current default page is Admin >
Overview. However, Horizon should be (and is) focused mainly on
different type of personas (self-service users), then the default page
after logging should be Project > Overview, where is everything about
whole of my content (VMs, images, quotas, etc) happening.
