[Bug 1185713] Re: When login screen is loaded, put focus on first input field (User Name)
Sorry to say I'm -2'ing this. It's been debated numerous times, and I
still don't see it as beneficial.
The reasoning boils down to the fact that it has unpredictable and often
extremely frustrating interactions with both browser-based and plugin-
based form autofill mechanisms. The majority of users choose to have
some system remember their username (if not also their password) at
which point they would focus on the password field, and this may steal
focus, etc. You get the idea.

Title:
When login screen is loaded, put focus on first input field (User
Name)
Status in OpenStack Dashboard (Horizon):
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Problem:
------------
In login screen form, there is missing initial focus.
Expected behavior:
---------------------------
Whenever login screen is loaded, I would expect focus on the first item in the form, which in this case is User Name.
Reason:
-----------
Having already focused input will speed up user's process of filling the form, by allowing him directly to type in his credentials, instead of finding a way how to get focus on that field (keyboard? mouse?). Fixing this issue will Increase UX of login view usability.
