Title:
[Operations] 'nova list' doesn't show enough information.
Status in OpenStack Compute (Nova):
Invalid
Status in Python client library for Nova:
Fix Released
Bug description:
When debugging user issues with various VMs Openstack operators need
the ability to know (at a glance) the compute node for a given VM.
Right now we have to either run 'nova show' on every VM, and try to
compile information that way, or write a tool to do the DB query for
us (Which many of us have done, but it's a workaround.)
Can someone please add compute node to the output of nova-list?
Even better, i'd like to be able to add other columns with a flag
eg: nova list --all_tenants --show flavor,task_state,instance_name
