Title:
  Upload failures to swift are not logged

Status in OpenStack Image Registry and Delivery Service (Glance):
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  If an error occurs during a chunked upload to swift,
  _delete_stale_chunks is called to delete the orphaned chunks. The
  exception is being caught properly, but no error is being logged and
  accounted for.

  In the logs, we see the upload, and then an immediate deletion, with
  no context as to why.
