Title:
Unable to preallocate_images=space
Status in OpenStack Compute (Nova):
Invalid
Bug description:
Hey,
I am running Xubuntu 12.04.2 and I installed OpenStack Grizzly through
Ubuntu Cloud Archive.
I want to use the preallocate_images=space option to preallocate my qcow2 file.
But it throws that error and the file "disk" in the associated instance dir isn't preallocated.
here the /var/log/nova/nova-compute.log:
http://paste.openstack.org/show/42851/
nova.conf:
http://paste.openstack.org/show/42852/
many thanks...
[update:] concerns raw too.
(with nova.conf options:
libvirt_images_type=raw
force_raw_images=True
use_cow_images=False
preallocate_images=space
)
