Hi, this isn't the right place to ask questions about Ubuntu HW
certification policy. Although launchpad is run but cannonical, this
project is upstream from cannonical.  Unfortunately  I don't know the
correct place to raise this question (I don't work for cannonical)

  Where we can find the document of HW certification policy?

Bug description:
  Dear Sir/Madan,

  As the title, we would like to konw the Ubuntu HW certification
  policy, kindly let us know where we can download the HW certification
  policy for reference.

  for example: 
  1, Is the Ubuntut forward/or backward compatible? We had passed the HW certification on Ubuntu Server 12.04.3 with one of our project, do we treat this project pass the HW certification with Ubuntu Server 12.05.x as well? Or we still need to re-run the HW certification with latest version?

  2, Supposed one of our project had passed the HW certification with Ubuntu Server 12.04.3 (LTS) for Sandy Bridge (Intel E5-2600 processor)
      Do we need to re-run the HW certification with  Ubuntu Server 12.04.3 (LTS) for IVY Bridge (Intel E5-2600 V2 processor)?

  3, Where we can see all of our product which had passed the HW
  certification before? Is there the HCL website can browser for  Ubuntu
  Server ?
