  vmware: snapshot of a vm does not save the state of the vm

Status in OpenStack Compute (Nova):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. create a vm
  2. create a file in home directory
  3. Take a snapshot of the vm
  4. Launch snapshot image

  expected result
  new vm should have the file created in step 2

  actual result
  does not have the file in home directory
