  From the sqlalchemy-migrate webpage: SQLAlchemy-migrate 0.7.2 is compatible with SQLAlchemy 0.6.x and 0.7.x. 

  From SQLAlchemy's 0.8.0b1 Release Notes:

  [general] [removed] The “sqlalchemy.exceptions” synonym for
  “sqlalchemy.exc” is removed fully.(link)
