I am working on creating a list of blueprints to improve glance.
this looks like a candidate for that. 
So I will add this to the list and open a new blueprint based on this  - so I think we can close.

Status in OpenStack Image Registry and Delivery Service (Glance):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  it would be helpful if we had a --log in glance api which will
  basically allow print out of all the deleted images names and ID's
