Yes, the developer docs cover it pretty well. I suppose I should create
a doc-bug on the API Reference site. Although I know how difficult it is
to fix problems with that.

  Document GET /v1/images/detail&is_public behavior with True, False and
  Null States

Status in OpenStack Image Registry and Delivery Service (Glance):
  Opinion

Bug description:
  I did not know glance was working with ternary logic! is_public can be True, False or Null
  Querying /v1/images/detail with any of the three has different behaviors.

  Please document this interface.
