Bug description:
  http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/block-device-mapping/root
  ->
  /dev/sda

  but this is bong - it's actually /dev/sda1 for this instance. Note
  that because baremetal does partition images, not disk images,
  specifying a partition is appropriate IMO.
