Title:
nova.compute.manager Error: No module named
cryptography.hazmat.bindings.openssl.binding
Status in OpenStack Compute (Nova):
Incomplete
Status in “nova” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I'm going through the icehouse Ubuntu 14.04 install guide, and running
into the following error when trying to start an instance:
2014-10-28 11:29:27.473 16306 ERROR nova.virt.libvirt.driver [-] [instance: ea25e88a-bfcd-49c1-bfbb-90fc04a7e8cf] During wait destroy, instance disappeared.
2014-10-28 11:29:28.201 16306 ERROR nova.compute.manager [req-dfaab9dc-5dd2-4125-851e-fb5fef755aa3 4f8fb28c3d134c67be65dcb9ab4a7f40 db4a7927b15e4bbfaa27f35596c8d9ef] [instance: ea25e88a-bfcd-49c1-bfbb-90fc04a7e8cf] Error: No module named cryptography.hazmat.bindings.openssl.binding
It seems like I must be missing some python support, but it's unclear
what. Some package versions I'm using follow:
ii python-openssl 0.13-2ubuntu6 amd64 Python 2 wrapper around the OpenSSL library
ii nova-compute 1:2014.1.3-0ubuntu1 all OpenStack Compute - compute node base
ii nova-compute-kvm 1:2014.1.3-0ubuntu1 all OpenStack Compute - compute node (KVM)
ii nova-compute-libvirt 1:2014.1.3-0ubuntu1 all OpenStack Compute - compute node libvirt support
