  nova is not using Cinder V2 API in the check/gate

Status in OpenStack Compute (Nova):
  In Progress

Bug description:
  In discussion with Matt Riedemann we have discovered that Nova is not
  using the V2 API when running tests in the gate.  Given that the V2
  API is deprecated in Juno and going to be removed in Kilo we need to
  fix this ASAP.

  Assigning this against Cinder at the moment as it is really up to the
  Cinder team to fix this.
