  No valid host was found after installing DevStack

Bug description:
  Followed the DevStack installation steps from
  http://docs.openstack.org/developer/devstack/

  VM: Ubuntu: 12.04

  
  "nova availability-zone-list " is empty. There is enough free memory on the machine.
