Title:
Documentation doesn't explain how to install virtualenv
Status in OpenStack Identity (keystone):
In Progress
Bug description:
In the page "Setting up a Keystone development environment"
(http://docs.openstack.org/developer/keystone/setup.html), the section
"Installing dependencies", the subsection "PyPi Packages and
VirtualEnv" recommends to set up a virtual environment. However, it
doesn't explain how to set it up:
edu@petra:~/OpenStack/keystone$ python tools/install_venv.py
ERROR: virtualenv not found.
Keystone development requires virtualenv, please install it using your
favorite package management tool
The following package is required:
sudo apt-get install python-virtualenv
