Message #45783
[Bug 1541301] [NEW] random allocation of floating ip from different external subnet
Public bug reported:
I have created THREE different subnets(subnet1, subnet2,subnet3) in
"EXTERNAL" Network.
When associating floating ip for an instance, neutron randomly picks IPs
from all the subnets.
But I need to mention specified EXTERNAL subnet while associating.
As of now only external network name can be selected, but the subnets
can not be user defined. when we try to associate floating ip to the
instance.
To excecute an important use case we are stuck here in allocating
required FLOATING IP.
Kindly resolve.
** Affects: neutron
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
