Title:
Use growpart even if it doesn't support --update
Status in cloud-init:
Invalid
Bug description:
cc_growpart is only using growpart if it supports --update. I have to
spawn some older linuxes ( like ubuntu precise ) that don't support
this and I would like to have recent cloud-init for it. My workaround
is to use growpart even if it doesn't support --update but create
/var/run/reboot-required like the gdisk-resizer does. This way growing
the disk always works but some machines require a reboot afterwards.
Does it make sense to you to pull this into trunk?
