Title:
networking fallback should ignore bridges
Status in cloud-init:
Confirmed
Status in cloud-init package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Serge pointed me at an an issue with cloud-init's fallback networking.
It will consider bridges as possible devices to dhcp on.
Since these bridges are configured only by things like lxd (not /etc/network/interfaces) they're not going to be good devices to 'dhcp' on and get a fallback networking configuration.
My short solution is to just ignore bridge devices when searching.
