  phone_home module should allow fqdn to be posted

Bug description:
  Currently the phone_home module allows for the hostname of a machine
  to be posted but not the FQDN.

  I'm happy to make this change myself but I cannot work out how to
  submit the patch through launchpad.  I'll update this if I work it
  out.
