[Bug 1217026] Re: Nova os-services:update should be requested by service id to respect REST principles
This wishlist bug has been open a year without any activity. I'm going
to move it to "Opinion / Wishlist", which is an easily-obtainable queue
of older requests that have come on. This bug can be reopened (set back
to "New") if someone decides to work on this.

Title:
Nova os-services:update should be requested by service id to respect
REST principles
Status in OpenStack Compute (nova):
Opinion
Bug description:
Currently os-services:update operation is requested against v3/os-
services/{enable, disable} that is not the right approach and was one
of the things to be fixed on the v3 plans.
The right way to do it is showing the service id when listing services
and using that id to create a resquest to enable/disable it against v3
/os-services/{id} with a body describing the action to be performed.
