This wishlist bug has been open a year without any activity. I'm going
to move it to "Opinion / Wishlist", which is an easily-obtainable queue
of older requests that have come on.

  there is no api or cli to enable/disable a flavor

Bug description:
  There is a extended property 'disabled' defined for a flavor, but
  there is no api or cli to change the value.

  Customer needs a way to temporarily make a flavor invisible to public
  by set the 'disabled' to true.
