Title:
  resize returns success when the command is invoked to target flavor
  size, but doesn't reflect in reality.

Status in OpenStack Compute (nova):
  Expired

Bug description:
  I ran a resize an the although --poll shows that resize has finished,
  the instance status does not change to rresize and we cannot confirm.

  the only thing I can find in the log is this:

  error Error mounting
  /var/lib/nova/instances/c9b579bd-c392-4ab6-bdb8-ff5801f804cd/disk with
  libguestfs (mount_options: /dev/sda on / (options: ''): mount: you
  must specify the filesystem type). Cannot resize.
  is_image_partitionless /usr/lib/python2.6/site-
  packages/nova/virt/disk/api.py:183

  
  but the image is find and instance has rhel installed on it. 

  to reproduce this: 
  try to resize an instance 

  Please note that I am working with glusterfs as cinder and glance
  backend on Havana
