+1 on the discussion on the ML and if there will be any interest than please submit a blueprint and/or a spec to better discuss the proposal.

Bug description:
  Use DDT library to reduce code duplication

  DDT can ease up error tracing and autogenerates tests on basis of different input data.
  It allows to multiply one test case by running it with different test data, and make it
  appear as multiple test cases. This will help to reduce code duplication.

  Currently DDT is implemented in openstack/cinder and openstack/rally.
