Title:
Networking configuration options in Configuration Reference
Status in neutron:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Reference to depricated option "segment_mtu" in Networking
configuration options in Configuration Reference
In link: http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/config-
reference/networking/networking_options_reference.html#agent
For option: network_device_mtu = None
It is suggested: (Integer) DEPRECATED: MTU setting for device. This option will be removed in Newton. Please use the system-wide segment_mtu setting which the agents will take into account when wiring VIFs.
As per this link: http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/config-reference/tables/conf-changes/neutron.html
"segment_mtu" itself is depricated in Mitaka and instead "global_physnet_mtu" should be used.
So, above description for "network_device_mtu" should be corrected to:
(Integer) DEPRECATED: MTU setting for device. This option will be
removed in Newton. Please use the system-wide global_physnet_mtu
setting which the agents will take into account when wiring VIFs.
