Dear bug triager. This bug was created since a commit was marked with DOCIMPACT.
Your project "openstack/neutron" is set up so that we directly report the documentation bugs against it. If this needs changing, the docimpact-group option needs to be added for the project. You can ask the OpenStack infra team (#openstack-infra on freenode) for help if you need to.

commit 03b84bc920b5499e1fef23c646268fffa1d859d7
Author: Edan David <edand@xxxxxxxxxxxx>
Date: Tue Nov 8 10:30:45 2016 -0500

    Deprecate SR-IOV 'physical_device_mappings' config option

The device to physnet validation is made in Nova by pci_whitelist config option.
Therefore it is redundant to validate it in Neutron with physical_device_mappings
    config option.

    Closes-Bug: #1640220
    DocImpact
