    Revert "Fix the flicker of the log on button name"
    
    This change has caused my "Sign In" button to be hidden on the login page.

Bug description:
  The login page "Sign In" button is not showing up.  It looks like this
  was introduced with this fix:

  Proposing to revert that patch.
