Title:
[UX][url] Horizon forgets which project I was in when I log out
Status in OpenStack Dashboard (Horizon):
Expired
Bug description:
Here's my workflow:
- open Horizon, auth, switch to my project, do smth;
- go away from browser for couple hours;
- get back, see that I need to re-login;
- end up in some other project, so I have to find the right one again to do the right thing.
Aside from being annoying, it's very error-prone: sometimes I ended up
doing stuff in the project I have access to, but should never touch.
Solutions to this can be:
- store current project in browser-specific session that isn't wiped on logout;
- add project to URL so that redirect from login page lands you on right project.
The second option would also allow one to share URLs to specific
resources within specific projects that other people can actually use.
