Title:
  Multiprocessing tests fail on OS X

Status in Glance:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  The fix for bug 994609 got us to the point where the affected tests
  (glance.tests.functional.v1.test_multiprocessing) are not hanging on
  OS X, but consistently failing. Figure out how to get them passing.
