Message #68723
[Bug 1725493] [NEW] Is "Server" better rather than "Instance"?
Public bug reported:
Is it better to rename "Instance" to "Server"?
Horizon uses 'Instance" to refer to nova "server" for a long time, but
this is the only usage of "instance" in the meaning of "server". Nova
API, nova CLI and openstack CLI all use 'server' for the meaning.
"instance" can be used in different meanings. I think "Instance" just
come from AWS EC2 terminology. It brings OpenStack users to
inconsistency in the terminology.
** Affects: horizon
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
